This is indeed a 'pleasing melody' with a lot of lyrical charm. Here in C minor.
It is featured in Cambrian Minstrelsie volume 5 as the setting for the lyrics of Atgofion ( Memories) by Professor Rowlands, who also known by his bardic name Dewi Mon.
There do seem an above average number of beautiful and toponymic tunes that come from Meirionydd!
